How to Measure Your Ring Size

Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you wish to wear the ring on.
Mark the point where the paper overlaps, then measure the length in millimetres — this is your circumference.
Find your circumference in the table below. We recommend measuring at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size — gemstone rings are easier to resize down than up.

How durable is Black Onyx?

Chalcedony/onyx rates approximately 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale. It is suitable for most jewellery types and handles daily wear reasonably well. Avoid hard knocks, which can chip the stone, and sharp chemicals that can affect the dye treatment.

How do I keep Black Onyx looking its best?

Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to restore shine. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners (they can worsen cracks in dyed stones) and harsh chemical cleaners. Store separately to avoid surface scratches from harder gemstones.
